They were featured at ONE 170, the promotion's first numbered event of the year, which took place in a rocking Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The contest went the full route of three rounds with Estupinan emerging as an impressive winner by way of unanimous decision.

Along the way, both protagonists had their moments of brilliance, including scoring a knockdown each that only raised the tension in the match. Ghazali was the first to score a knockdown, doing it in the opening round with an overhand right hand that sent 'Panda Kick' recoiling and saw him being given a standing eight count after.

Then Johan Estupinan came back in the second round with his knockdown, landing a nifty left jab.

Estupinan eventually won the contest by being the steadier fighter throughout. He further boosted his thrust by busting open Ghazali in the third and final round.

The win was the 27th in as many matches in the professional career of the Colombian sensation, and the fifth straight in ONE Championship, where he made his debut in May last year. Ghazali, for his part, dropped to 6-2 in his ONE campaign.
