Teen phenom Johan Ghazali introduced himself to ONE Championship fans in a grand way, making short work of Padetsuk Fairtex in his promotional debut in February last year. He made the Thai fighter pay for faking a glove touch by completing a knockout in just 16 seconds.
It took place at ONE Friday Fights 6 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. Just as the opening bell sounded, 'Jojo' approached the middle of the ring looking to do a customary touching of gloves with Padetsuk. To his surprise, his opponent threw a leg kick while faking to extend his hand.
Ghazali, however, just went about his business, going on his attack which he ended with a powerful right hand to knock out Padetsuk early into their scheduled three-rounder.
ONE Championship captured the beginning and the ending of the contest and shared it on Instagram for fight fans to relive.

Johan Ghazali returns to action at ONE 170
Johan Ghazali looks to sustain his winning momentum when he returns to action on Jan. 24 at ONE 170 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok. He will take on a streaking opponent in Johan Estupinan in a flyweight Muay Thai clash.
The 18-year-old Malaysian-American fighter is coming off a bounce-back victory in September in the United States, knocking out Mexican Josue Cruz in the opening round of their clash. He is now out to build on it to shore up his standing in a stacked flyweight division.
At ONE 170, Ghazali is up against a formidable opponent in Colombian Estupinan, 22, who has been undefeated in his first four matches to date in ONE Championship. Three of the victories of 'Panda Kick' came by way of KO, with the latest back in October, where he stopped Zakaria El Jamari of Morocco with a nasty combination in the second round.
For the win, he received a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
ONE 170 will be aired live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
