Jonathan Haggerty’s second-round knockout win over Fabricio Andrade not only crowned ONE Championship’s newest two-sport world champion in the main event of ONE Fight Night 16 on November 3, which went down inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, but also produced another potential challenger for the British superstar.
Moments after Haggerty silenced the trash-talking Andrade using his fists, he was immediately confronted by the Brazilian’s sparring partner and compatriot Felipe Lobo in the middle of the ring. They exchanged a few words until they were separated by Haggerty’s team and referee Olivier Coste.
This moment between the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion and Lobo was captured on video by ONE Championship, which posted it on their official Instagram account with the caption:
"Bad blood brewin' 😳 @jhaggerty_ @felipe_lobo_mt"

Lobo happens to be the No. 2 ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender and the No. 4 ranked challenger in bantamweight kickboxing. He has a ONE Championship record of three wins and one loss, with his victories being against Yodpanomrung, Rodlek PK Saenchai, and Saemapetch Fairtex.
The lone loss that the 30-year-old top contender sustained under the world’s largest martial arts organization was from former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama in March 2022 at ONE X via third-round knockout.
If the 26-year-old Londoner is willing to delay his plan of challenging ‘Wonder Boy’ for his MMA championship, he has the option to call out ‘The Demolition Man’ and set up his first world title defense of either the bantamweight Muay Thai or kickboxing world titles.
With 52 pounds of gold hanging on both his shoulders, the target on the back of Haggerty just got bigger, and a lot of challengers are expected to fall in line to get an opportunity to face him in a world championship match.
