If you want to hear what thunder might sound like if it came out of someone's limbs, watch Jonathan Haggerty hit the pads. The former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion is ferocity personified every time he gets in the zone.

In a video released by ONE Championship on Instagram, Jonathan Haggerty, who fights Nong-O Hama at ONE Fight Night 9, can be seen hitting pads like a demon in the gym.

We are absolutely positive that we would never want to be on the business end of those strikes...

"Feel the burn ❤️‍🔥 “The General” challenges Nong-O Hama for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship on April 21 at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video! 👑 @jhaggerty_"

We don't care if you're a supreme athlete or the toughest human to ever exist. If you allow yourself to get hit by those strikes cleanly, your insides will not be the same.

Jonathan Haggerty tends to wind-up his strikes, which is quite unusual, but makes up for it in the speed department. The overhand right is one of the hardest punches to time, but 'The General' throws it so fast and furious that it might be hard to see it coming.

Nong-O better come prepared on April 21 at ONE Fight Night 10.

Jonathan Haggerty tries to win second belt by challenging Nong-O at ONE Fight Night 9

Former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty is about to embark on a new challenge in his career.

England's proudest son has moved up 10 pounds to bantamweight to challenge for a second world title. The only problem is that he'll be facing one of the greatest Muay Thai world champions in modern history, Nong-O Hama.

This intriguing world title matchup is now officially headlining ONE Fight Night 9 on April 21 in Singapore.

'The General', after an amazing comeback run since losing his ONE flyweight Muay Thai belt, eventually decided to test the waters at bantamweight. His move has been somewhat promising so far, beating Vladimir Kuzmin in a catchweight bout (148 pounds) at ONE on Prime Video 4 last year.

Feeling at home in the higher weight division, Jonathan Haggerty will be packing in more power together with his trademark flyweight speed. If he is to beat the great Nong-O, he will need to be on point with both.

The rest of the fight card for ONE Fight Night 9 hasn't been announced yet. The event will air live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
