Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland were involved in a confrontation at the fighter hotel that led to both being separated. A video surfaced on social media of the two yelling at each other from a distance after they had been separated.
'Trailblazer' posted a video to his social media addressing what transpired and later deleted it. He basically alluded to the opponents likely changing as a result.
He said:

"The video is going to come out...Then, they're probably going to do an opponent change again."
This isn't the first time Holland has upset another fighter as his altercation with Khamzat Chimaev prior to the UFC 279 press conference led to the press conference being canceled. They then fought in the octagon after the card was changed due to Chimaev missing weight for his initial main event bout with Nate Diaz.
Masvidal, on the other hand, hasn't shied away from a confrontation as he was involved in an altercation with Leon Edwards in 2019, which led to his famous 'three piece and a soda' catchphrase after he struck him following his interview.
It remains to be seen whether the UFC will use the confrontation between 'Gamebred' and 'Trailblazer' to set up a fight depending on what transpires in their respective bouts at UFC 287.
Jorge Masvidal shares his thoughts on Colby Covington receiving the next welterweight title shot
Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on his former teammate and friend-turned-enemy Colby Covington receiving the next welterweight title shot after appearing at UFC 286 in London.
'Gamebred' wasn't happy with 'Chaos' being named as Leon Edwards' next opponent as he felt he's more deserving due to his following and history with 'Rocky' should he defeat Gilbert Burns on Saturday. He mentioned that he is currently facing criminal charges because of his altercation with Covington and questioned how he is earning a title shot, saying:
"I currently have three felonies because of this bi*ch Colby says I gave him a brain injury, so how the f**k is he going to fight for any title, is what I want to know...The UFC is going to get sued if that guy goes in there and something like that happens. Because supposedly, allegedly because I didn't do sh*t, he says I gave him a brain injury." [6:39 - 6:57]
If 'Gamebred' defeats Burns in spectacular fashion, he could make a strong argument for the promotion to revisit his animosity with Edwards.
