Kade Ruotolo is looking to get past Mikey Musumeci's vaunted guard: "I think Mikey is a little bit mental"

21-year-old American phenom Kade Ruotolo has a very simple game plan against 'Darth Rigatoni' Mikey Musumeci in the upcoming ONE 168: Denver clash -- takedown, pass, and submit.

That is the usual goal for the Atos Jiu-Jitsu product, and he talked about it with ONE Championship in a recent interview. Ruotolo said:

"I think Mikey is a little bit mental in a sense where if I do get past his guard, I don’t think he’s mentally sharp enough to replace [guard], push through, and then create attacks. But I could be completely wrong, too. You know, it’s definitely very possible, and I think it also depends on how much energy he still has at that moment when I do pass."
