WATCH: KSI gets shoved by Joe Fournier ahead of May showdown

KSI v Joe Fournier Press Conference
KSI vs. Joe Fournier Press Conference

KSI's next fight against Joe Fournier is already promising to be an electric one.

'The Nightmare' has been out of the ring since January, when he faced Faze Temper. The YouTuber was originally supposed to face Dillon Danis at the event, but 'El Jefe' withdrew prior to fight week. As a result, the Brazilian got the nod to the short-notice main event.

In the headliner of Misfits 4, the British star scored a highlight-reel knockout win. Following the victory, the YouTuber exited the ring and had a face-off with Joe Fournier. 'The Badass Billionaire' has long called for a matchup, and he's gotten his wish.

The two are set to headline a DAZN pay-per-view in May, with the event slated for Wembley Arena in London. Earlier this week, KSI and Fournier had their first press conference for their showdown, and things got heated.

At the conclusion of the presser, the two had a face-off that quickly turned sour. Both Fournier and the YouTuber were naturally talking trash when the businessman shoved him away. Luckily, things didn't escalate beyond the shove.

KSI next fight: 'The Nightmare' discusses the shove from Joe Fournier

Ahead of KSI's next fight against Joe Fournier, 'The Nightmare' believes he's in his opponent's head.

'The Badass Billonaire' is an interesting figure in the influencer boxing bubble. Fournier isn't much of an influencer but does have a bit of a following thanks to his career as a nightclub owner. That fame has allowed him to get into a crossover matchup like this.

Over the last few years, the businessman has called to face both Jake Paul and KSI. He was even able to get on the undercard of 'The Problem Child' vs. Ben Askren, where he defeated Reykon by first-round knockout.

It was Joe Fournier's last fight, and KSI is determined to make sure it's his last win. Following the shove at their press conference, the YouTuber-turned-boxer discussed the altercation. During a recent video published to Misfits Boxing's Twitter account, he stated:

"It seems like I rattled him by just doing nothing. I thought it was very weird that he did that, I just think he's trying to show dominance. The whole press conference was him trying to show dominance, I think he talked way more than I did. Which is definitely unusual. I think when I get in that ring and show everyone that I'm about it, people will be shocked."
