The latest victory of Kyrgyz MMA star Akbar Abdullaev was against Turkish contender Halil Amir in May 2024 at ONE Fight Night 22 when he produced a highlight-reel knockout in their featherweight MMA battle inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

ONE Championship published Abdullaev's winning moment on their YouTube account, with the title:

"OUT COLD 😱 Akbar Abdullaev moves to 11-0 with a lethal left hook! #ONEFightNight 22"

The 27-year-old maintained his 100% finish rate under the world's largest martial arts organization with an atomic left hook that caught Amir off guard, and he followed it up with another punch on the ground to officially seal the victory.

This one-shot power has proved that Abdullaev is a knockout machine who can send any fighter unconscious once he lands a clean shot against them.

Before this win over Amir, Abdullaev also victimized Oh Ho Taek in March 2023 at ONE Fight Night 8 with a first-round TKO and Aaron Canarte in July 2023 at ONE Fight Night 12 with another first-round TKO finish.

These triumphs have helped him earn the number five spot in the featherweight MMA division.

Akbar Abdullaev challenges Tang Kai for featherweight MMA supremacy at ONE Fight Night 27

On Jan. 10, the Al Munar Team and Tiger Muay Thai representative looks to maximize his first world title shot against reigning ONE featherweight MMA world champion Tang Kai, as he challenges him in the main event of ONE Fight Night 27 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aside from winning the coveted 26-pound golden belt, Abdullaev also looks to be the first athlete to put a blemish on the Chinese superstar's record and end his reign in the weight class.

Currently, Tang has a perfect 8-0 record under the promotion with an impressive 63% finish rate.
