English striker and ONE bantamweight Muay Thai contender Liam Harrison has demonstrated the difference between a professional boxer and a casual.
'Hitman' is an eight-time Muay Thai champion with tons of striking experience, training since the age of 13. He has competed in over 100 bouts, including wins in ONE over Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai PK Saenchai.

Liam Harrison reveals injury was worse than originally thought, says fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. was not an option
Unfortunately, Harrison suffered a severe knee injury in the opening round of his loss to Nong-O Hama last August. In fact, he recently revealed that the injury was worse than originally thought, telling The MMA Superfan:
“Obviously I've been having some knee problems since the Nong-O fight and, yeah, it just turned out to be a lot worse than originally thought. And I tore a lot of the main ligaments in my knee, and the only way I was gonna repair them was with surgery.”
'Hitman' was supposed to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition bout, but he withdrew to preserve his health.
Harrison added:
“I spoke to my surgeon, I said, ‘Listen, am I gonna be able to do this fight? It’s only boxing.’ And he told me, he said basically, ‘Be careful because you might be doing some damage that might be irreversible, you might be needing a knee replacement by the time that you’re 40, you might be always walking with a limp, you might not be able to fight Muay Thai again.’ He said, ‘You need to think about what you’re doing.'”
The Englishman stands at No.4 in the bantamweight Muay Thai rankings, trailing Rodlek PK Saenchai, Alaverdi Ramazanov, and Saemapetch Fairtex. Everyone has their crosshairs set on Nong-O, who has defended his world title seven times thus far.
Harrison is still on the road to recovery, but the 37-year-old feels as though he still has what it takes to become a world champion under ONE Championship.
