ONE bantamweight Muay Thai star Liam Harrison was seen sparring with newly-crowned ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9. A video was uploaded by ONE Championship on Instagram and despite it being short, it was quite telling.
As Superlek Kiatmoo9 was rushing in, Harrison sneakily went for an inside low kick to upset the Thai's balance. Superlek, however, was unbothered as he completed his hook-body kick combination that connected cleanly to the Brit's mid-section.

Other than the fact that Superlek's legs are perhaps made of steel, what is most interesting in this video is the absolute respect between the two world-class warriors. Liam Harrison, after absorbing the body kick, immediately smiled and acknowledged its impact. He even touched gloves with the ONE world champion right after.
'The Hitman' showed recognition of the kick by telling his friend outside the ring:
"I would've all my ribs if he hadn't those shin pads on"
We tend to agree with Harrison. Without those shin pads, he would have absorbed the full effect of Superlek's shin slamming onto his ribs.
Superlek Kiatmoo9 to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a champion vs. champion match
In one of the most intriguing match-ups in Muay Thai's modern history, Superlek Kiatmoo9 will put his ONE flyweight kickboxing world title on the line against Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
On Friday, March 24, Superlek Kiatmoo9 will face the dominant ONE flyweight Muay Thai king in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.
Superlek and Rodtang have a combined 486 bouts between them. Despite fighting nearly everyone in the sport for many years, it's quite surprising that 'The Iron Man' and 'The Kicking Machine' have never locked horns in the past. This historic clash will be one for the ages.
Superlek boasts a 132-29-4 pro record with notable wins over Muangthai PK.Saenchai, Jonathan Haggerty, Daniel Puertas, and Rodtang's teammate Panpayak Jitmuangnon twice.
Rodtang, after terrorizing ONE's flyweight Muay Thai ranks for years, is looking to conquer a new sport by capturing the organization's flyweight kickboxing belt. Boasting an insane 270-42-10 pro record, the 25-year-old dynamo is considered the no.1 pound-for-pound kickboxer by renowned publication The Nation.
'The Iron Man' hasn't lost in ONE Super Series and has steamrolled every opponent put in front of him.
