ONE world champions Mikey Musumeci and Rodtang Jitmuangnon have developed a close friendship like no other. Fans saw both men compete at ONE 167 last Friday, June 7.
While the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion and his corner were getting ready to make their walk to the circle to face Denis Puric in a catchweight kickboxing bout, Musumeci raced up the stairs to give Rodtang his well-wishes.
ONE Championship shared their heartwarming interaction via Instagram, which can be seen below:

After a three-round war with 'The Bosnian Menace', Rodtang was declared the winner via unanimous decision as he exorcised the demons that had been hounding him leading up to the event.
As for the ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion, he locked in a nasty calf slicer to end Gabriel Sousa's night in just over three minutes.
Musumeci lit up social media after his bout as he cut an electrifying promo against Sousa that detailed why he had so much bad blood with the Essential Jiu-Jitsu product.
Mikey Musumeci looking forward to mega clash with Kade Ruotolo
Musumeci will look to claim two-division submission grappling dominance as he challenges Kade Ruotolo for the ONE lightweight submission grappling world title at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
In the post-fight interview, Mikey Musumeci said:
"I always ask to train with him, so why not just do it in front of a lot of people, it will be really exciting, you know? But also the energy we have with each other, so respectful. You don't have to be this macho guy like Gabriel [Sousa] walking around like this [mimics chest out walking] with me the whole week. It's f***ing stupid! Guys, we're just having a match, 10 minutes, calm the f*** down."
Tickets for ONE 168 are available via Ticketmaster.
