Former ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion and former ONE atomweight World Grand Prix winner Stamp Fairtex is one of the best strikers in women's MMA today. This was on full display when she successfully defended her ONE women's atomweight Muay Thai strap against fighting beauty Alma Juniku back in 2019.
The bout featured fireworks from start to finish. Juniku had the length and height advantage but Stamp Fairtex had aggression and ferocity in her corner. This is not to say, however, that Juniku is not ferocious herself. The Australian fighting vixen went after the Thai sensation, initiating the exchanges in the pocket.
Stamp, however, was just too much to handle. The scraps were either Juniku initating but Stamp landing the last blow or Stamp initating and landing the harder shots. The two brave warriors kept the intensity up til the final bell. One could argue that Stamp Fairtex faded a little in the latter rounds with Juniku pouring in the attacks. In the end, however, Stamp created a wide enough gap to earn a unanimous decision win.

Stamp Fairtex faces Anissa Meksen in a mixed-rules match at ONE on Prime Video 6
ONE Championship is making a huge return to Thailand with ONE on Prime Video 6. The card will have a massive mixed-rules bout between Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen live on January 13, 2023 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.
This bout will be the second mixed-rules match in ONE Championship history, following the historic bout between ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson and ONE flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon at ONE X earlier this year.
Like its predecessor, this mixed-rules bout between Stamp and Meksen will be a mish-mash of Muay Thai and MMA rounds.
Stamp Fairtex unsurprisingly will enter the fight as the favorite considering her significant experience in MMA, winning the ONE atomweight Grand Prix belt in the sport. Add that to her combined 85 fights in Muay Thai and kickboxing, then Stamp will surely be a hard puzzle to solve come January 13.
Meksen, on the other hand, is the reigning ISKA World K1 Bantamweight world champion and WAKO World K1 Bantamweight titleholder. The French-Algerian striker is also a former two-time Glory Super Bantamweight champion, former WPMF World Muay Thai Flyweight champion, and former French, European and World Savate Champion. Combat Press ranks her as the no.1 pound-for-pound female fighter in the world as of May 2020.
When it comes to striking acumen, Meksen is at the very top of the food chain. Ever since debuting in ONE last year, she's been on a 3-fight undefeated streak and is looking to blast through the upper echelon of her division. All he has to do is get past Stamp Fairtex.
