Ramazanov is one of the most highly-touted wrestlers coming out of Dagestan, Russia. As most fans know by now, it's a region of the world that breeds world-class wrestlers, including Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Murad Ramazanov credits wrestling and his parents for teaching him to treat others with respect

Ramazanov has been wrestling since he was an adolescent, fine-tuning his craft for over a decade by this point. He credits the sport, as well as his parents' guidance, for teaching him to be respectful.

He told the promotion:

"Freestyle wrestling is our region's number one sport, many Olympic champions come from the region. But at that time, I didn't want to do it because of the way old-school coaches were with their students: they could beat them with a rope, be very rude, shout, pull their ears. I was not used to this kind of treatment. My father raised me only by example and conviction, he always treated himself and others with respect."

The dominant force is a perfect 11-0 as a pro, including six wins by stoppage. His success has carried over to the global stage and many view him as one of the best rising talents in all of MMA.

Murad Ramazanov trains at the Dag Fighter gym in Makhachkala, Russia, alongside the likes of Timur Valiev, Omari Akhmedov, Said Nurmagomedov, and Magomed Magomedov, amongst many others.

With a trio of world title fights slated to take place at ONE on Prime Video 5, many faces are most excited for the intense battle at welterweight.

Make sure to watch Murad Ramazanov look to halt Roberto Soldic's hype train in a pivotal welterweight bout at ONE on Prime Video 5 on December 2, live from the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.
