Veteran contender Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat has sent teenage phenom Johan Ghazali crashing back down to earth after handing him his first ONE Championship defeat at the ONE 167 card via unanimous decision last weekend.
The best moments of each fighter was compiled by the promotion in a video, which was posted on their official YouTube channel, with the description:

Nguyen showcased the wealth of experience he has against the young athlete, as he countered his constant pressure forward with quick counters to his head. These counters have stunned Ghazali multiple times and neutralized his relentless marching forward.
Also, the Vietnamese star was controlling the phase of the match and dodged the signature powerful punches from his Malaysian-American opponent. This narrative of the fight was enough for him to sway the judges in giving him the unanimous decision victory.
This was Nguyen's third victory under the world's largest martial arts organization after previously beating Yuta Watanabe and Azwan Che Wil.
Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat successfully bounced back from previous loss to Denis Puric
In December 2023 at ONE Fight Night 17, Nguyen suffered his first loss under the promotion after Denis Puric knocked him out in the second round of their flyweight Muay Thai showdown inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
But the former five-time WMF world champion and 2009 Asian Indoor Games gold medalist proved that he still can compete among the best athletes in the world even at his age of 35 years old.
Furthermore, 'No.1' has inched closer in cracking a spot in the top five rankings of the loaded featherweight Muay Thai division.
