Nong-O Hama, the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, recently shared a heartwarming video on his Instagram account, showing him spending quality time with his young son.
In the video, Nong-O can be seen teaching his son some basic martial arts techniques, giving him the opportunity to practice throwing an uppercut after stepping off of a straight punch.

Fans voiced their admiration for Nong-O. Instagram user @sam_serran0 said:
“It's literally impossible not to like Nong O, he is so humble, and always has such a good and respectful attitude!! And is such an unbelievable fighter too!”
Hama has been a longstanding figure in the world of Muay Thai. Starting his training at just nine years old, he has since become a Thai legend and an emblem of the sport.
At 15 years old, Nong-O made his professional debut at the famous Rajadamnern Stadium. Since then, he has become a world-class athlete, winning multiple Muay Thai world titles, including the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title.
He remains undefeated in ONE Championship after 10 fights, with his last five victories coming by way of stoppage. He is scheduled to compete at Bangkok's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium against Jonathan Haggerty on April 21.
Nong-O Hama scheduled for sixth world title defense in ONE Fight Night 9 main event
Nong-O has ruled the ONE bantamweight kickboxing division with an iron fist ever since he first stepped into the ONE Circle. In just over a month, he’ll get to face another man who’s had his own taste of world championship glory - former flyweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty.
Haggerty made a successful debut in the bantamweight division against Vladimir Kuzmin last November, after moving up from the flyweight division. ONE Championship recently announced that Haggerty would face Nong-O in the main event of ONE Fight Night 9 in Bangkok:
“🤜 BANGER 💥 ALERT 🤛 Dominant ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama defends his crown for a record eighth time when he takes on former flyweight Muay Thai king Jonathan Haggerty on April 21 at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video”
On April 21, Jonathan Haggerty will be facing a tough challenge as he enters enemy territory in every way. His opponent, Nong-O, not only trains locally in Thailand but has also tasted victory once before in Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in 2023.
In his last appearance in the stadium, Nong-O defended his kickboxing world title successfully against Russia's Alaverdi Ramazanov, and despite being 36 years old, he has yet to show signs of weakness or slowing down.
However, Haggerty, who is ten years younger than Nong-O, believes he can be the first to beat the Muay Thai legend in the ONE Circle.
