When two world champions like Nong-O Hama and Petchtanong Petchfergus sharpen each other in the ring, there may be no one who can stop them.
The two top strikers have been training together recently ahead of Nong-O Hama’s upcoming world title defense at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video.
The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Hama posted a video of him and Petchtanong trading heavy kicks to the pads to his Instagram account.

Hama's training partner, Petchtanong Petchfergus, is the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion. The 37-year-old is one of ONE Championship’s newest world champions, winning the belt last November against Hiroki Akimoto at ONE 163 by split decision.
Petchtanong is also a former WBC and WMC Muay Thai world champion, and he’s awaiting his first title defense as a ONE world champion. Could it be a rematch with Akimoto after a split decision verdict? It could be an interesting year for the native of Thailand’s Isan region.
Nong-O is looking to continue an already successful campaign in 2023, finishing Alaverdi Ramazanov with body shots in January. His next defense is in the main event of ONE Fight Night 9 against former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty.
ONE Fight Night 9 is set for April 21, US primetime, at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

Up next for Nong-O Hama is a big one: he’ll fight former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty in the main event of ONE Fight Night 9 on April 21st.
The fight was officially announced earlier this month, and fans had a range of reactions to the announcement. Take a look at the fan perception of the fight, with some giving their respect to Haggerty, while others felt that it could be an easy night for the defending world champion.
“I like Haggerty, but I don't think he is eligible to challenge the bantamweight title...He's only had one fight in this division.😢”
“Haggerty is a badass MT fighter, super fast and accurate and I love watching him fight. But Nong-O is too powerful and really confident. BTW this is gonna be 🔥.”
“In Thailand, JH is highly regarded. Fighting against Sam-A, Rodtang, and Mongkhonphet, he has a distinctive style that can wield weapons quickly.”
“Sad to say but.....Nong-O gonna eat him alive.....”
“Haggerty had big problems in the weight division below defending himself against Rodtang. I dont see this going the distance whatsoever…”
Jonathan Haggerty moved up to bantamweight last November, taking a majority decision against Vladimir Kuzmin. Hama, meanwhile, will be making his eighth world title defense against the Brit.
The massive fight headlines ONE Fight Night 9, which goes down from the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 21st in US prime time. The event streams on Amazon Prime for North American subscribers.
