Former ONE lightweight MMA world champion Ok Rae Yoon of South Korea is a bit of an overachiever. The fights he was never supposed to win, he used as an opportunity to shock the world and win them.
Such was the case against opponents Marat Gafurov, Eddie Alvarez, and perhaps most significant of all -- two-division ONE world champ 'The Warrior' Christian Lee.
Ok first met Lee in September of 2021 at ONE: Revolution, where he delivered a clinical striking performance to upset 'The Warrior' by unanimous decision and claim the lightweight MMA gold.

Ok Rae Yoon to use victory over Alibeg Rasulov to earn rematch with Christian Lee: "I need a good reason"
Former lightweight MMA king Ok Rae Yoon wants to make a case for a trilogy showdown with rival Christian Lee, and he has redemption on his mind.
The 33-year-old fight veteran believes a win over undefeated Alibeg Rasulov could give him the opening he needs to secure another meeting with Lee.
He told ONE Championship:
"For that to happen, I need a good reason, and that would be defeating a 14-0 fighter in Alibeg. I am studying Alibeg closely and preparing for him accordingly. So, I’ve been working on my takedown and grappling defense, as well as my overall striking."
