ONE Friday Fights 89 on Nov. 29 was played in front of a highly appreciative crowd, which included two-time Olympic gold medal-winning runner Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya.
The Rio and Tokyo Olympic marathon winner soaked in the electric atmosphere that emanated from the event at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, which featured upcoming Muay Thai, MMA and kickboxing fighters. He was welcomed by officials of ONE Championship and had a front-row seat of the explosive action.
ONE Championship shared a video of Kipchoge's attendance for the most recent edition of its popular weekly Friday Fights series, uploading it on Instagram.

40-year-old Kipchoge was in Thailand to take part at the Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok, part of the Kenyan superstar runner's role as ambassador promoting Thailand as a sports tourism destination.
The marathon took place last Sunday, featuring 33,000 runners from over 70 countries. It offered a total prize fund of 2,440,500 baht.
Yod-IQ caps ONE Friday Fights 89 with hard-earned win over Kirill Khomutov
ONE Friday Fights 89 was successfully held at Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 29, with Thai Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri capping the event with a hard-earned split decision victory over Russian Kirill Khomutov in their headlining bantamweight Muay Thai showdown.
The two fighters went back-and-forth with telling hits in their three-round nine-minute battle. The hometown bet, however, finished stronger as he landed more strikes that consirably helped his cause as he got the judges' nod in the scorecards.
The win was Yod-IQ's fifth straight, and seventh in eight matches since making his ONE Friday Fights debut in March last year. He has an overall professional record of 122-36.
