Chatri Sityodtong recently showed how brave he is by eating an edible cricket during his tour of Thailand this week.

The self-made entrepreneur was seen out of his usual business attire, rocking a gray v-neck shirt, a ONE Championship ball cap, and a traveler’s backpack, as he visited multiple gyms across the city of Chiang Mai.

Stopping for lunch, the CEO accepted a tasting challenge from its residents before giving a thumbs up to the camera.

ONE Championship shared the fun footage with the caption:

On January 11, 2023, CEO and chairman Chatri Sityodtong announced he was going to work with the Thai government to find solutions on how to revive their national sport in the grassroots and create bigger opportunities for Muay Thai athletes to grow.

During the press conference at ONE Fight Night 6: on Prime Video, Sityodtong vowed to donate 10 million baht to smaller and struggling Muay Thai gyms in the countryside. In his latest video on Instagram, Chatri Sityodtong is fulfilling that promise.

CEO Chatri Sityodtong welcomes first-ever energy drink partner

In one of ONE Championship’s latest developments, CEO Chatri Sityodtong recently partnered up with leading sports energy brand, Monster Energy.

The familiar and prominent brand has been sponsoring major sports media companies across the world, including top MMA organizations in the US.

Now, ONE Championship is getting a piece of the cake with their multi-year partnership, which includes, exclusive branding for “Fight of the Night” and “Action Replay” segments, ringside logos, and “VIP” prizes.

Not only will this provide a new avenue for marketing, but it will also enable more athletes and event sponsorships in the forthcoming future.

In a press release last month, the CEO stated:

“We are thrilled to welcome Monster Energy as our first official energy drink partner. ONE Championship only partners with the best in the world across every business unit, and Monster is the clear industry leader for energy drinks and alternative beverages in professional sports. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for ONE and Monster.”
