The ONE Championship community paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Victoria Lee with a moment of silence this past Friday.
Not too long ago, Victoria was stoked to return to the MMA scene full-time after taking some time off to graduate from high school. She was expected to make an appearance in the first major event of the year in Thailand at ONE Fight Night 6, which continued as scheduled on January 13.
Mid-broadcast, ONE Championship paid tribute to her memory with a compilation of her early triumphs as well as a past clip of one of Victoria’s very first interviews under the promotion.
In the video, Victoria expressed how she wanted the world to remember her as an “authentic” and “real” person. She also hoped to use her platform to help the people around her with her story and inspire them to fulfill their dreams.

CEO Chatri Sityodtong will work to ensure that Victoria Lee's legacy lives on in ONE Championship
ONE CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong revealed he will work with Victoria Lee’s older sister Angela Lee, to make sure her legacy lives on.
The tragic news of 18-year-old Victoria Lee was felt by the entire MMA community, including Chatri Sityodtong. He first met the young prodigy with her family when she was just 11 years-old- five years before the world would know who she was.
Despite being hailed as an up and coming prospect who wanted to follow in her siblings’ footsteps, the CEO admitted that Victoria was much more than that.
After the moment of silence, Chatri Sityodtong revealed how he would like to honor Victoria’s memory:
“I just spoke to Angela yesterday. We want to leave - we’re going to work together to ensure that Victoria's legacy lives on. We’re gonna do a scholarship, an award, we’re brainstorming and I want to make sure Victoria Lee’s kindness, love, selflessness - that is her legacy and let it live forever.”
