ONE Championship released a YouTube video showing a compilation of brutal leg kicks inside the circle.
There are many ways in which fighters can inflict damage on their opponents. However, leg kicks don't get the appreciation they deserve from casual combat sports fans.
Leg kicks, if executed properly, can be absolutely devastating. In some cases, they can even prove to be fight-ending. These strikes leave massive bruises and can impair a fighter's ability to even walk right then and there. UFC fighter Edson Barboza has ended three of his MMA fights with leg kicks as his opponents were unable to even stand up, let alone fight.

Even if a fighter eats them without issue in the cage, eating a few good leg kicks almost always means that a fighter will be hobbling the next day.

Anyone who’s been leg-kicked before should proceed with caution while watching ONE’s montage. There is a variety of ONE superstars in the video, including Rodtang, Nong-O, and Yodkaikaew ending fights with brutal kicks. It’s safe to say their opponents didn’t have an easy time walking the next day.

ONE Championship’s leg kick compilation was difficult to watch at times. Although it’s not as brutal as someone getting knocked out cold, the raw emotion of fighters in pain is disturbing. The YouTube video received various reactions from MMA fans, including some saying:

Over the past few years, leg kicks, especially calf kicks, have become an essential tool for MMA fighters. Sometimes it only takes one or two perfectly timed strikes for a fighter to struggle to put weight on their damaged leg.
