Superlek Kiatmoo9 put on a masterclass in his first ONE flyweight kickboxing world title defense at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video, knocking out Danial WIlliams in the third round.

The 27-year-old star was originally scheduled to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon, but 'The Iron Man' withdrew due to a back injury sustained in training. Danial Williams stepped up to save the fight—and Superlek didn't skip a beat.

The striking sensation has now won five straight contests inside the Circle, including a vacant title-attaining victory over Spain's Daniel Puertas.

Superlek reveals how he'll spend his $50,000 bonus, wants to rebook Rodtang fight

The undisputed flyweight kickboxing king earned another $50,000 performance bonus for his highlight win at ONE Fight Night 8. After the victory, he revealed how he'll spend some of the bonus, stating:

“Apart from the house renovation for my mom, I don't think I have any plans right now. For now, I will just finish their renovation for her,” he said during his ONE Fight Night 8 post-fight interview.

The champ then directly called out Rodtang:

“I think I deserve to challenge him for the title. Rodtang is the number one in Muay Thai, so I would like to try that. I do not have anyone specific in mind to defend my title. If the next one who will be challenging me for the belt in kickboxing is Rodtang, I am ready.”

Rodtang is still expected to make another flyweight Muay Thai world title defense against Mexico's Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The star is still aiming to compete for titles in multiple sports, like kickboxing.

Meaning, a matchup with Superlek is still very much in the cards as it appears there is still mutual interest. Rodtang still owns the longest winning streak in ONE Championship, getting his hand raised in each of his last 12 striking-only bouts.

Be sure to check back with Sportskeeda MMA for an announcement pertaining to Superlek's next bout, as he looks to add to his own winning streak inside the Circle.
