ONE Muay Thai star Pongsiri PK.Saenchai is one tough man to knock down – something that Ferzan Cicek learned the hard way at ONE Friday Fights 2 last weekend.
Obviously, ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is still the poster boy for sheer durability.
But judging by his all-out brawl with Cicek, Pongsiri might just be a close second.
The 32-year-old slugger, who was invigorated by his hometown crowd inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium, showcased his indestructible iron chin against his hard-hitting foe.

Most fighters would have been dropped by the powerful shots that Cicek unleashed. Pongsiri, though, was simply a madman who kept pushing forward.
After a shaky first round, the PK.Saenchai MuayThaigym product amped up the ante in rounds 2 and 3.
Pongisri even channeled his inner-Rodtang, cheekily taunting ‘The Boogeyman’ after taking one on the chin.

Although he did absorb a ton of damage in the match, Pongsiri was also able to dish some of his own in return and had the Turkish fighter backpedaling several times.
He ran away with the bout in the final three minutes, battering his opponent with merciless punches and kicks as the bell rang.
After three high-octane rounds of pure entertainment, the judges deservingly awarded the Thai fighter a unanimous decision victory in their 152-pounds catchweight bout.
Following the big win, Pongsiri improved his impressive record to 157-33-11. More importantly, it also put him in the running for a possible world title shot against the division’s long-time king Nong-O Gaiyanghadao.
The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion successfully defended his crown for the seventh time against Alaverdi Ramazanov earlier this month at ONE Friday Fights 1.
