The seven-slide post featured one of 'The Immortal's' favorite attacks in his arsenal - his knees. The compilation of knee strikes included clips from his fights against Nieky Holzken, Mustapha Haida, Arian Sadikovic, and Brad Riddell.
Those aforementioned names fell victim to Eersel, as they all yielded to him with unanimous decision losses. The Surinamese striking sensation also holds wins over the likes of Anthony Njokuani, Islam Murtazaev, Sinsamut Klinmee, and Dmitry Menshikov.
Regian Eersel identifies Alexis Nicolas' calf kicks as his best weapon from their first match
Eersel went on a 10-fight win streak and became a two-sport world champion. His reign as a double world titleholder, howerver, was cut short by Alexis Nicolas in April 2024 at ONE Fight Night 21.
Before their rematch on Oct. 4 at ONE Fight Night 25, which will happen inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, the Sityodtong Amsterdam representative talked to ONE Championship in a recent interview and shared that the Frenchman's kicks were a big key to their first match, as he stated:
"No. When I felt the power, I was like, I can handle this. The only thing was the calf kicks because I never felt that pain before, you know? So yeah, to tell you honestly."
ONE Fight Night 25 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America on Oct. 4 during U.S. primetime.
