Stamp Fairtex’s rise to martial arts superstardom wasn’t without its share of challenges, and her first major test came against Alma Juniku.
The two warriors collided at ONE: Legendary Quest in June 2019, where Stamp faced the daunting task of defending her ONE atomweight Muay Thai world championship. Battling in front of an electrified crowd at the Baoshan Arena in Shanghai, China, she had to dig deep to retain her title at that time.

Juniku matched Stamp strike for strike in an edge-of-your-seat five-round contest. After a measured start, the Australian phenom began asserting herself in the third round, with her confidence growing as the bout progressed.
However, Stamp demonstrated the heart of a true champion. In the fourth and fifth rounds, she found another gear, delivering her most decisive strikes to walk away with a unanimous decision victory and keep the gold-plated strap in her possession.
Stamp, however, relinquished the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title to current holder Allycia Hellen Rodrigues at ONE: A New Breed in August 2020.
Stamp Fairtex shows signs of progress in recovery
Today, Stamp Fairtex continues to make significant strides in her recovery following a knee injury that sidelined her in 2024.
ONE Championship recently shared footage of the 27-year-old training at the Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand. In the clip, she is seen hitting the punch mitts and donut pad, showcasing her determination to return stronger than ever.
Stamp suffered a torn meniscus during one of her final sparring sessions ahead of her scheduled defense of the ONE women’s atomweight MMA world championship against Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167 last year. The injury required surgery, forcing her to withdraw from the bout.
Zamboanga went on to face Noelle Grandjean on the same card, earning a unanimous decision victory to solidify her position as one of the division’s top contenders.
Since undergoing surgery in May, Stamp has dedicated herself to rehabilitation and strengthening her surgically repaired knee.
While an official timeline for her return has not been announced, her recent progress in training suggests that the Thai megastar could make her comeback sometime in 2025.
