Strawweight kickboxer and rising contender Zhang Peimian dropped jaws in his ONE debut, putting Josh Tonna down with body shots in the second round.
He followed that performance up with a unanimous decision victory over Russia's Aslanbek Zikreev at ONE 159. The most incredible part? He isn't even 20 years old and he's already set to compete for a championship.

Peimian will welcome Canada's Jonathan Di Bella to the promotion in what will serve as the ONE 162 headliner. The two will compete for ONE's vacant strawweight kickboxing title.
Zhang Peimian's hard work is paying off
'The Fighting Rooster' might only be a teenager, but he's worked his entire life to get to this stage. In fact, he credits most of his success to his work ethic. Peimian told ONE:
"I believe that 90% of me is hard work and less than 10% is talent. Without the hard work, there would be no results. Talent isn't everything."
Zhang Peimian is chasing history at ONE 162, as he'll become China's youngest champion ever with a victory. The young star is confident, and rightfully so, that he'll get the job done in emphatic fashion:
"Too fast. Too accurate. I will become China’s youngest world champion."
As for his ONE 162 opponent, Di Bella is making his promotional debut after picking up back-to-back boxing wins over the summer in the Canadian regional scene. Though talented, he'll enter as a hefty underdog against Zhang Peimian.
Notably, Di Bella has fought for Glory in the past and won the ISKA featherweight title in 2018.
Aside from that, ONE 162 features two other kickboxing bouts, including a co-main event between Nieky Holzken and Islam Murtazaev. They'll also be a pair of Muay Thai contests, as well as four MMA bouts.
That being said, all eyes will be on the headliner and the chance for 'The Fighting Rooster' to secure a memorable crowning The Chinese phenom will look to bring the title back to his home country in what will be a historic feat.
