Before becoming a superstar in the combat sports world, Rodtang was a young prodigy looking to make a name for himself. Once he signed with ONE, the opportunity was presented with a massive platform and high-level competition.
On September 22, 2018, ‘The Iron Man’ made his promotional debut against Sergio Wielzen. Although Rodtang wasn’t able to finish the 2x W5 world champion, he put the division on notice with an impressive unanimous decision win. ONE recently re-surfaced the fight on YouTube with the caption:

Since defeating Wielzen in his debut, Rodtang has been unbeatable in Muay Thai, winning 11 consecutive fights, including five for the ONE flyweight world championship. The Thai superstar is also 2-0 in the ONE flyweight kickboxing division, with his last win against Jiduo Yibu in January.
The only time ‘The Iron Man’ has lost under the ONE banner was in a mixed-rules bout against Demetrious Johnson in March 2022. He is now looking to continue his dominance in Muay Thai and kickboxing with two upcoming world championship fights.

What’s next for Rodtang Jitmuangnon?
Rodtang Jitmuangnon has become a fan favorite for his fan-friendly fighting style and ability to stay active. After defeating Jiduo Yibu at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video in January, Rodtang earned a flyweight kickboxing title shot against Superlek Kiatmoo9. The highly-anticipated showdown will go down on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8.
Meanwhile, Rodtang doesn’t plan on holding up the flyweight Muay Thai division. Regardless of the outcome against Superlek, ‘The Iron Man’ will defend his throne against Edgar Juarez Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10, which is ONE’s first live event in North America.
