Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Denis Puric are prime examples of rivals turning into friends, as they became inseparable after their intense match at ONE 167 on June 7.
The two striking maestros went toe-to-toe in their catchweight kickboxing match in front of the Impact Arena crowd in Bangkok, Thailand.
The aftermath of the match was recently shared by ONE Championship on Instagram. In the caption, they wrote:
"Brotherhood 🤝 How will the rematch unfold when Rodtang and Jacob Smith meet again for the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title on November 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta? 👀 @rodtang_jimungnon @bosnian_menace"

'The Iron Man' eventually got the unanimous decision victory over 'The Bosnian Menace' after three intense rounds of battle and returned to the win column. Before this bounce-back win by Rodtang, he suffered his first Muay Thai loss in ONE Championship to ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in September 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 34.
This latest triumph is a morale-boosting win for the reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion as he prepares for his upcoming rematch and world championship defense against Jacob Smith.
Rodtang aims to extend reign as ONE flyweight Muay Thai king at ONE 169: Atlanta
Over a month after his win over Puric, Rodtang was immediately booked for his next fight against Jacob Smith on November 8 as part of the stacked ONE 169: Atlanta card, which will take place inside the State Farm Arena.
This will be the second encounter between Rodtang and Smith, as they previously fought in May 2022 at ONE: 157, which happened inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium. On that night, Rodtang scored a unanimous decision win over the British star.
Apart from repeating the feat against the Bad Company and Thaifist representative, the Jitmuangnon Gym athlete is also looking to extend his reign as the unquestioned king of the flyweight Muay Thai division.
