Watch Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Danial Williams show tremendous respect after vicious bout

If you want to witness an unbelievable war of attrition between two Muay Thai legends, watch the 2021 classic between ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Australia's Danial Williams. It had everything you'd want to see in a classic brawl: artful violence, intense drama, and undeniable heart.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon, impressed by his opponent's toughness and willingness to fight fire with fire, immediately knelt down after the bell. Not many men in the world have the courage to trade inside the pocket with Rodtang. The Thai superstar was so appreciative of the fighting Aussie that he even volunteered to wipe the blood off of Williams' face.

Just recently, we've witnessed Rodtang introduce his flavor of aggressive Muay Thai and irresistible charm to the US crowd at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video. In front of a sold-out crowd at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, Rodtang defended his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against Mexico's Edgar Tabares.

After spending the first round studying his opponent, 'The Iron Man' went to work and began to pour on his signature forward pressure, showing little respect for his Mexican foe's power.

Rodtang eventually started catching Tabares' front kicks and countered them with hard shots to the face. He caught a teep kick once again which prompted the Mexican striker to throw a spinning elbow. Rodtang, however, easily blocked the shot and almost calmly delivered an elbow strike of his own, knocking Tabares down and out.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon successfully defended his world title via technical knockout at 1:34 of the second round. The win also earned the Thai legend a $100,000 double-bonus from ONE Championship CEO and Chairman, Chatri Sityodtong.
