ONE Championship's dynamic grappling siblings, the Ruotolo brothers, might be the most dangerous twins the world has ever seen. You can't name another set of twins who can methodically dismantle anybody, anywhere, anytime.
Training since they were three-years-old, Kade and Tye Ruotolo blasted through their competition growing up, eventually becoming Jiujitsu's first child stars. It was when the prodigious twins hit the world stage, however, that they truly made a mark on the mainstream consciousness.
The Ruotolo brothers started beating veteran black belts while they were still jiu-jitsu purple belts. With their own black belts bestowed upon them by BJJ legend Andre Galvao, the dynamic tandem truly took over the sport.

Upon signing with ONE Championship, Kade won three straight bouts, winning the inaugural ONE lightweight submission grappling world title along the way. He also became the youngest ADCC world champion that year. As for Tye, he won two straight matches with both garnering him a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE.
In a recent video posted on the Ruotolo brothers' Instagram, we saw the two playfully rolling as kids. Even as they were joking around, however, the Ruotolo brothers showed a near-perfect grasp of technique.
Just look at how Kade (or Tye) was able to slide his leg from the bottom to counter his brother's kimura attempt:

Tye Ruotolo, one-half of famed Ruotolo brothers, to face Reinier de Ridder in grappling superfight
At ONE Fight Night 10, one-half of the Ruotolo brothers, Tye Ruotolo, will face former ONE light-heavyweight and reigning middleweight world champion Reinier de Ridder.
Though there's a perceived size difference between 'The Dutch Knight' and the young Ruotolo, not everyone is too concerned about the same since the 20-year-old grappler dominated at the 2022 ADCC World Championship.
In the Absolutes division of the 2022 ADCC, Tye Ruotolo faced significantly bigger men in Felipe Pena and Nicholas Meregali. Tye beat former Absolutes gold medalist Pena and gave Meregali a run for his money. Both world-class grapplers outweighed Tye by at least 60 pounds.
No stranger to beating much larger men, the hyper-aggressive Tye Ruotolo called out Reinier de Ridder back in December. 'The Dutch Knight' is a grappling specialist who primarily uses his ground skills to achieve success in MMA. He has gone undefeated for nearly ten years because of his sheer grappling expertise alone.
After losing his light-heavyweight belt to Anatoly Malykhin late last year, de Ridder will be taking a break from MMA to try his hand at submission grappling once again. His first foray into straight grappling bouts came when he faced the Ruotolo brothers' own mentor and ADCC legend, Andre Galvao, last year at ONE X. He went to a draw with Galvao, as both grapplers failed to score a submission when the time expired.
