The second fight of current number one-rated ONE bantamweight Muay Thai contender Nico Carrillo in ONE Championship saw him face Thai star Muangthai PK Saenchai in June 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 22.
Carrillo scored a second-round TKO finish of Muangthai in front of his faithful inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Several highlights of this win were reposted by ONE Championship on Instagram recently, and they captioned the post with:

'The King of the North' was dominant during the match from start to finish, as he was piecing up 'Elbow Zombie' with powerful shots to the head and body in an effort to make it a short evening for him in the office.
Furthermore, the Scottish star was using his bigger frame to ragdoll the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym representative with multiple sweeps and throws down the mat. Eventually, he bagged the win 1:31 into the second round to pick up his second victory under the promotion.
Nico Carrillo set to face Saemapetch Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 23 on July 5
In a crucial match that could potentially earn him a crack at the 26-pound belt, Carrillo will take on the number four-ranked divisional contender Saemapetch Fairtex inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on July 5 at ONE Fight Night 23.
A win for Carrillo can give him an outright opportunity to challenge for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title. However, he might need a little longer, as the current world title holder, Jonathan Haggerty, is scheduled to meet Superlek Kiatmoo9 for his second world title defense on September 6 at ONE 168: Denver.
ONE Fight Night 23 will be available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America on July 5 during U.S. primetime.
