It cannot be denied that Kwon Won Il’s knockout power is the primary reason he’ll be challenging Fabricio Andrade for the ONE bantamweight MMA world title at ONE 170 on January 24, 2025.
Since joining the world's largest martial arts organization nearly six years ago, the South Korean has been a force to be reckoned with, knocking out nearly every opponent in his path like a row of dominos.

Remarkably, Kwon has never won by decision in his nine victories under the promotion’s banner, with each one coming via knockout.
Confident in his abilities, 'Pretty Boy' is determined to extend his streak of finishes when he faces Andrade at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, next month.
The #3-ranked bantamweight MMA contender expressed confidence in the comments of his very own highlight reel:
“AND NEW🔥”
However, this won’t be their first meeting. Kwon and Andrade first clashed in June 2022, where the latter authored a 62-second knockout with a devastating body kick.
While Kwon is eager to claim 26 pounds of gold, he’s also seeking redemption, aiming to do what he does best — shut the lights off on Andrade.
Fabricio Andrade confident of beating Kwon Won Il again
Though Kwon Won Il has undoubtedly evolved since their last meeting, Fabricio Andrade remains optimistic he can deliver an encore performance.
In a recent interview with Sportskeeda MMA, “Wonder Boy” predicted an early finish in their rematch:
“I’m very confident that I will eventually find holes in his game and stop the fight. But I’m not focused on this just to try and finish it as early as possible in the earlier rounds."
