Stamp Fairtex is determined to become ONE Championship’s first-ever three-sport world champion. But first, she’ll have to get through arguably the best female striker in the planet today, Anissa Meksen. The two female warriors are scheduled to square off in the promotion’s second mixed rules bout at ONE on Prime Video 6.

Ahead of her return to the circle, ONE Championship took a walk down memory lane with Stamp on Instagram, highlighting her success in Muay Thai from a very young age.

“Can Stamp Fairtex finish Anissa Meksen in their mixed rules super-fight at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13? @stamp_fairtex”

Achieving glory in both the worlds of Muay Thai and kickboxing, Stamp made her move to mixed martial arts in an effort to capture a ONE world title in three different sports, something that has never been done in the history of the promotion.

She nearly got there, delivering a very competitive performance against the reigning atomweight queen Angela Lee at ONE Championship’s 10th-anniversary showcase, ONE X.

Unfortunately, Stamp Fairtex came up short of winning the ONE women’s atomweight world title, but as the division’s No. 1 contender, a second run-in with Angela Lee is inevitable. Until then, she’ll have to settle with seven-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion Anissa Meksen. Undefeated inside the circle, Meksen will be looking to score the biggest win of her career at ONE on Prime Video 6.

Anissa Meksen is excited to test her MMA skills against Stamp Fairtex

When Anissa ‘C18’ Meksen steps into the circle on January 13, it will be her first foray into mixed martial arts. However, the French-Algerian striker is far from concerned. Having trained in MMA for quite some time, Meksen believes she’ll have the skills to hang with Stamp Fairtex when the time comes:

“I trained MMA for a long time now, I expect a fight so it’s good for me, it’s a good opportunity so let’s see what happens in January. I’m so happy it’s the first event we’ll do MMA and Muay Thai so I’m happy to do this.”

Of course, Meksen will be able to put her elite Muay Thai skills on display in the mixed-rules matchup where the rules will alternate between MMA and Muay Thai after each round. With Stamp being a former ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion herself, the fan favorite from Thailand will be more than capable of holding her own under both rulesets.
