ONE Championship’s bantamweight standout ‘The Sniper’ Stephen Loman put his incredible power on display in his ONE debut last December when he met Russian grappler Yusup Saadulaev.
Just in case you forgot, the promotion has you covered, uploading a clip of the highlight reel knockout on Instagram just weeks before his highly anticipated return to the Circle.
The No.5-ranked bantamweight contender will be gunning for his third win inside the Circle on November 18th. It will be no easy task as he takes on the toughest test of his career, meeting former bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes. ‘The Flash’ will enter the bout with a renewed focus as he works his way back to the title he lost to John Lineker at ONE: Lights Out in March.

For Stephen Loman, a win over the No.1-ranked bantamweight would immediately push him to the front of the pack, putting him in pole position for a shot at ONE gold. With the bantamweight title currently sitting vacant, it’s a chance for both fighters to stand out while ONE Championship determines how to move forward with crowning a new bantamweight king.
Stephen Loman is ready to capitalize on his golden opportunity at ONE on Prime Video 4
Heading into the Circle for his junior effort, Stephen Loman will have a golden opportunity to put himself in the conversation for a ONE world title opportunity. Standing in his way is one of the most tenured and celebrated superstars in ONE Championship history, Bibiano Fernandes.
As an 11-time bantamweight world champion, ‘The Flash’ has only experienced a loss inside the Circle twice in more than 10 years' time. Loman plans to make it loss number three for ‘The Flash’ when the two square off in a bantamweight contender showcase at ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18th.
Speaking with The MMA Super Fan, Loman shared his excitement for the opportunity to take on a legend like Fernandes, but also made it clear that his eyes will be firmly on the prize come time to make the walk to the Circle:
“Even before and now this is it. So I’m very excited for this fight.”
Loman added:
“This is my chance to focus on fighting him and defeating him because he’s the no.1-ranked [contender]. And if I beat him, I will have the chance to fight for the title.”
