Double ONE world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 has been very busy competing in the last two years. He has taken on all-comers be it in Muay Thai or kickboxing and has had a lot of success.

Among the opponents he battled was Thai-Algerian fighter Nabil Anane in a flyweight Muay Thai clash in June last year. He was steady in tearing down the 6-4 phenom with ferocious leg kicks and solid body shots that culminated with an opening-round knockout.

ONE Championship let fight fans relived the "David vs. Goliath" clash, posting a video of the fight on Instagram. It was in line with the return to action of 'The Kicking Machine' at ONE 170 in January next year.

The win over Anane is part of the 11-fight winning streak that Superlek is currently right smack in. It is a run which has also seen him win the ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world titles.

Superlek seeks to sustain torrid run at ONE 170

Superlek Kiatmoo9 seeks to sustain the torrid run he has established when he defends the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 170 on Jan. 24, 2025 against Nico Carrillo of Scotland.

The title showdown is part of the marquee event, which is set to take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, and designed to set the tone for ONE Championship in what it hopes to be another banner year.

'The Kicking Machine' has won 11 straight matches, with the last one back in September, where he seized the bantamweight Muay Thai gold from erstwhile divisional king Jonathan Haggerty with a 49-second KO win.

It is the same title he is is now girding to defend at ONE 170 against Carrillo, who has been undefeated in four fights to date in ONE, with all of his wins coming by way of knockout.

The Superlek-Carrillo title fight is one of two confirmed championship matches so far at ONE 170, with the other featuring ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai against challenger Superbon in a title rematch.
