Before Superlek looks to become a two-sport ONE world champion, ONE Championship is looking back on how 'The Kicking Machine' became the promotion's current flyweight kickboxing king.

After a successful showing against Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in June, Superlek plans on adding another 26 pounds of gold to his collection when he meets reigning two-sport titleholder Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship.

The pair of pound-for-pound greats will go toe-to-toe at ONE 168: Denver when ONE Championship heads back to the United States on Friday, September 6.

But first, relive Superlek's lights-out performance against Daniel Puertas at ONE Fight Night 6 to claim the ONE flyweight kickboxing strap in his home country.

His win over Puertas was the first of five victories in 2023 for 'The Kicking Machine,' all culminating with his Muay Thai Fight of the Year against fellow flyweight world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon last September.

Superlek has already gotten 2024 off to a smashing start, earning wins over Japanese kickboxing icon Takeru Segawa and the aforementioned Kongthorannee.

Next, he'll look to dethrone one of the hottest fighters in all of combat sports.

Superlek goes for dual gold at ONE 168 against two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty

Since making the move from flyweight to bantamweight, Jonathan Haggerty has looked like a world-beater inside the Circle, scoring knockouts against former ONE world champion Nong-O Hama and reigning ONE bantamweight MMA titleholder Fabricio Andrade.

He followed up those wins with a sensational come-from-behind KO against 'Demolition Man' Felipe Lobo at ONE Fight Night 19 in February.

'The General' has never looked better in his career, but at ONE 168, he'll face a fighter unlike any other—and while they're certainly no strangers to one another, having shared the ring at a UK event in 2018, much has changed over the last six years.
