ONE Championship recently released its collection of the most mind-bending one-shot knockouts in 2024, with Thai superstars Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Superbon leading the elite list.
To mark the new year, ONE shared a carousel of videos on its Instagram profile of standout KO finishes in the year that just passed. It then enjoined fight fans to take their pick.
Heading the list was Superlek's 49-second knockout of Englishman Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver back in September. The win, which saw 'The Kicking Machine' placing a well-timed counter elbow on to the head of 'The General' made him the new ONE bantamweight Muay Thai King.
Also part of the list was the opening round KO of Superbon of Thai veteran Jo Nattawut in their featherweight Muay Thai battle also in September at ONE Friday Fights 81. An elbow did it as well for Superbon after an exchange that sent 'Smokin' Jo crashing to the canvas and unable continue after.

Part of the impressive collection of KO finishes was that of ONE featherweight MMA world champion Tang Kai of China, who set up a third-round TKO of erstwhile interim champion Thanh Le with a solid right to the chin to become the undisputed champion in the division in March at ONE 166.
Then there was the majestic 49-second KO victory of ONE newcomer Amy Pirnie of Scotland over Yu Yai Pui of China at ONE Fight Night 24 in August as well as the left-punch, lights-out finish of Kyrgyzstani Akbar Abdullaev of Halil Amir of Turkey in May at ONE Fight Night 22.
All of the KO finishes on the list, save for that of Pirnie, earned the fighters performance bonuses from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
