In the highly anticipated main event, Tawanchai successfully defended his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship with a statement-making finish over Thai compatriot and rival Superbon.
The 25-year-old superstar displayed his blinding speed and concussive power from the opening bell, rocking Superbon with explosive boxing combinations. By the second round, Tawanchai had shifted into high gear, dropping his compatriot three times en route to a stunning technical knockout victory.
Meanwhile, Andrade made quick work of Kwon Won Il in their heated rematch, reinforcing his dominance as the reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world champion.
Wasting no time, “Wonder Boy” immediately pressed the action, overwhelming the South Korean with relentless offense. A brutal left hook to the body crumpled Kwon, and Andrade swiftly followed up with a relentless barrage of ground-and-pound to seal the deal.
Lastly, Anane delivered a masterclass in striking, stopping Nico Carrillo in the first round to capture the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world title.
Standing at 6-foot-4, Anane expertly utilized his height and reach, keeping Carrillo at bay before sending him crashing to the canvas three times. A crisp straight right caused the first knockdown, a devastating head kick produced the second, and a final onslaught secured the stoppage.
With the dominant win, the 20-year-old phenom now sets his sights on a unification bout against lineal king Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 172 on March 23.
