Reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion, Tawanchai PK.Saenchai, has many weapons at his disposal to bury any opponent, including a potent head kick.
This was vividly captured in a video posted by ONE Championship announcer Mitch Chilson on Instagram.
The video shows successive clips of the champion having fun while demonstrating a roundhouse kick and the champion using it to knock out Ireland’s Sean Clancy on his promotional debut in May 2021.

Tawanchai will be featured on ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video on February 24 in Bangkok, where he is making his first title defense of the featherweight Muay Thai gold. Challenging him is Turkish veteran fighter Jamal "Yeniceri" Yusupov.
Since knocking out Clancy, Tawanchai has won three of his last four fights, including over fellow Thai fighter Petchmorakot Petchyindee by unanimous decision last September to become his division’s world champion.
He is now looking to extend his solid run and reign as a champion at ONE Fight Night 7, which will take place at his old stomping ground, Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. All the action from the event will be aired live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Tawanchai ready to fight the most elite featherweight Muay Thai athletes
Reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK.Saenchai is not resting on his laurels and is looking to continue challenging himself by taking on the best fighters in his weight class.
Since making his promotional debut in May 2021, the young Thai superstar has steadily made his way to the top of his division and of the sport. He recognizes that the featherweight class is very deep, but he is willing to take on all the competitors that will stand in his way.
He told ONE Championship:
“I like being in this weight class. It’s a popular one. It’s pretty massive. There are so many top fighters in the world who are in this weight class. I want to face all of these incredible fighters. It’s a way to prove to myself that I can stand among the top-ranking fighters.
Tawanchai, 23, became featherweight Muay Thai champion last September by beating former world champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee by unanimous decision.
He will make his first title defense this week at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video in Bangkok against No. 2-ranked contender Jamal Yusupov.
Apart from Yusupov, other potential challengers for Tawanchai's world title are the former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion, Superbon Singha Mawynn, as well as the No. 3-ranked former world title challenger, Jimmy Vienot.
The Thai star could also choose to try and avenge his only loss in the Circle by taking a rematch against No. 4-ranked Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.
