The hype train for 18-year-old phenom Adrian Lee continues to gain more steam as he put up another dominant victory, this time over veteran fighter Nico Cornejo in their lightweight MMA scrap at ONE 168: Denver this weekend.
Lee displayed his aggressiveness in front of the packed Ball Arena crowd in Colorado and put the combat sports community on notice with a first-round submission.
The fight highlights and post-fight interview were posted by ONE Championship on YouTube with the description:

'The Prodigy' overwhelmed 'The Steel City Kid' with his immense pressure in the opening seconds of the match and was able to take his back early. From there, he worked his way to multiple submission attempts and rained down powerful ground-and-pound strikes.
This inflicted significant damage on his fellow American fighter until he eventually succumbed to a rear-naked choke finish at the 2:37 mark of the opening round, bagging Lee his second victory in the promotion.
Adrian Lee said he was getting pizza after securing another $50,000 bonus
Lee received another $50,000 bonus from ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong following another dominant performance. This is now the second consecutive bonus for the Prodigy Training Center representative.
He also bagged the same award after his professional debut in June 2024 at ONE 167. where he submitted Antonio Mammarella.
During the post-fight interview, he was asked by Mitch Chilson what he would do with the money he had just received, and he had one thing in mind:
"Yeah. Thank you! That's, that's awesome!... Food. I'm gonna buy some food. Get some pizza."
