Nong-O Gaiyanghadao’s last appearance inside the fircle came at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August. Defending his bantamweight crown against dangerous British striker Liam ‘Hitman’ Harrison, Nong-O delivered another showstopping finish, finishing Harrison with a brutal leg kick knockout in the very first round of their co-main event clash.

Alaverdi Ramazanov will get the nod at the promotion’s first Lumpinee Stadium event this January after scoring three straight wins inside the circle, including back-to-back knockouts. In his most recent appearance, the Russian standout secured a split decision win over two-time bantamweight kickboxing world champion Capitan Petchyindee.

Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will main event the first of 52 ONE Championship events at Lumpinee Stadium in 2023

When ONE Championship heads to the storied Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand on January 20, it’ll be the first of an incredible 52 events scheduled for the venue in 2023. Officially announced in September, ONE CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong confirmed the broadcast deal, saying:

“I never imagined when I started Muay Thai 38 years ago at Sityodtong gym that it would lead to this moment. I’ve lived Muay Thai as a student, a competitor, a teacher, and now a CEO. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that one day I would be the main promoter for the Lumpinee Stadium to showcase our national treasure to the world. For the first time in history, Lumpinee will be broadcast live to 154 countries.”

ONE Championship also announced their return to Bangkok for ONE on Prime Video 6 headlined by a featherweight kickboxing championship bout between reigning title holder Superbon Singha Mawynn and No.1 ranked contender Chingiz Allazov. Also making their return to the Impact Arena that night will be ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Stamp Fairtex.

ONE Championship will bring fans an event from Lumpinee Stadium every Friday night starting this January that will feature the best Muay Thai fighters in the world, with some MMA, kickboxing, and submission grappling mixed in.
