WATCH: Thai megastar Rodtang holds nothing back in padwork session with wife Aida

ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is pulling out all the stops in training camp as he prepares to defend the crown against Jacob Smith at ONE 169: Atlanta on Nov. 8 inside the State Farm Arena.

While the event is roughly two and a half months away, 'The Iron Man' recently decided to have a lighthearted training session with the help of his wife and fellow professional Muay Thai fighter Aida Looksaikongdin.

The Jitmuangnon Gym athlete has successfully defended the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship five times. Rodtang's last challenger, Mexican star Edgar Tabares, fell victim to his knockout power in the second round of their May 2023 encounter at ONE Fight Night 10.

Rodtang has all the momentum behind him entering ONE 169 after putting on a dominant showing against veteran icon Denis Puric this past June at ONE 167.

Jacob Smith out for blood in rematch with Rodtang at ONE 169

United Kingdom star Jacob Smith has some familiarity with how Rodtang will approach their ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship tiff at ONE 169 on Nov. 8 as the Thai superstar welcomed him to the ONE banner in May 2022 with a unanimous decision defeat.

Smith, now the third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender, promised fans his redo with Rodtang inside State Farm Arena would feature a much better version of himself.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the Bad Company, 4 Corners and Thaifist product said:

"I'm not gonna let you know in detail, but what you can expect from me is everything that I usually bring in terms of excitement, and people will want to watch me."
