Reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon's third title defense came against former ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion and Thai compatriot, Petchdam Petchyindee.

It was a barnburner of a fight, as both athletes used strategies to inflict damage, forcing the other to adapt as the fight progressed. 'The Iron Man' used his powerful punches to punish the challenger.

'The Baby Shark' utilized his longer leg reach to shower the defending world champion with leg kicks that connected multiple times during the match.

After five rounds of non-stop action, Rodtang did enough for the judges to give him the majority decision victory and successfully retain his 26-pound golden belt.

Rodtang to face Jacob Smith in world title rematch on Nov. 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta

The Jitmuangnon Gym representative is currently preparing for his upcoming world title clash with number three-ranked contender Jacob Smith on Nov. 8, which will take place inside the State Farm Arena in Georgia, as part of the ONE 169: Atlanta card.

Rodtang aims to reassert his mastery over the British star and continue his reign as the division's unquestioned titleholder.

Recently, he had a face off with former ONE flyweight kickboxing world title challenger Takeru Segawa during the ONE Friday Fights 81 card, which took place last Friday inside the packed Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
