Thailand has produced many great combat sports athletes through the years and ONE Muay Thai star Saemapetch Fairtex has lived up to his heritage multiple times over.
In his 14-fight career under the world's largest martial arts promotion, Saemapetch has produced four finishes out of his nine victories and it was his August 2022 rematch with Rittewada Petchyindee that solidified his great striking abilities.
The Fairtex Training Center lost by TKO to Rittewada back in November 2021 and with a chance to reclaim that loss, Saemapetch sent his countryman to sleep by trapping Rittewada's hand that left him fully exposed to a fully wound-up overhand left for the knockout victory.

In his last six fights, Saemapetch has posted a 4-2 record with his last outing being a TKO victory over Mohamed Younes Rabah this past February.
The 29-year-old's next foray inside the Circle will happen at ONE Fight Night 23 on Friday, July 5 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand against rising Muay Thai star Nico Carrillo.

'King of the North' is currently on a three-fight winning streak that last saw him knock out former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champ and Thai great Nong-O Hama, though Saemapetch, who has fought in nearly 150 contests, is none too worried about it.
Speaking with ONE Championship, Saemapetch stated:
"My experience as a veteran Thai boxer will help a lot in this fight, like how to defend or counter."
ONE Fight Night 23 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
