Thai sniper Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai showed tremendous resilience in coming back to defeat Brazilian knockout machine John Linker in their catchweight Muay Thai clash last week in Thailand.
'Left Meteorite' bucked being knocked down by 'Hands of Stone' early in their showdown at ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10 at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium to earn the unanimous decision win.
Kulabdam was dropped with 2:20 to go in the opening round of the scheduled three-round contest. However, he regained his footing as the fight wore on and was just not to be stopped as he unleashed his own barrage of strikes.
ONE Championship relived the toughness that the Sor Jor Piek Uthai affiliate displayed at ONE Fight Night 27 with a carousel of videos on Instagram, from his knockdown all the way to his hand being raised in triumph.

Kulabdam says he knew he has edge over John Lineker in Muay Thai
While the knockdown he absorbed from John Lineker caught him by surprise, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai still knew he has the edge over his opponent when it comes to Muay Thai.
The seasoned Muay Thai fighter shared this in an interview with ONE Championship ahead of ONE Fight Night 27, highlighting that while Lineker did well in his first two matches in the 'art of eight limbs', he still had a lot to learn in it.
"For him to cross over from MMA to Muay Thai, I personally think he still has a lot to learn. Muay Thai has punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. He only has punches, truly living up to his nickname, 'Hands of Stone.'"
Sure enough, Kulabdam showed he truly knows his Muay Thai in coming back from being knocked down early by Lineker in their match, making full use of his arsenal to attack from varying directions.
