The return of Panpayak Jitmuangnon in ONE Championship was a successful one, as he was able to beat the tough Silviu Vitez in their flyweight Muay Thai match this past week at ONE Friday Fights 83.
Panpayak has hyped up the home crowd inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, as he scored a unanimous decision victory.
ONE Championship reposted several of his best moments during the bout on Instagram, and they captioned the post with:
"Panpayak is BACK 👏 "The Angel Warrior" earns a hard-fought unanimous decision win over Silviu Vitez! @panpayakjitmuangnon"

Right from the get-go, the Thai superstar unleashed his patented front and head kicks, which backed his Romanian foe. In addition to powerful kicks, Panpayak also fired vicious punches and elbows to inflict damage.
In the second round, Vitez had more resistance, where he gladly accepted the stand-and-bang approach in the middle of the ring and found his own success by connecting a few combinations.
But the home bet outsmarted him by sweeping him multiple times to disrupt his rhythm and avoid his power strikes. The teep kicks also continued during this round.
Panpayak capped off the match with a masterclass on the clinch and targeted Vitez's body with thunderous leg kicks.
Panpayak lived up to his promise before the fight with Silviu Vitez at ONE Friday Fights 83
Before he fought the 'Hitman,' the Jitmuangnon Gym representative promised that he would employ an aggressive style against him when they share the ring, and he stated this during his interview with ONE Championship, where he proclaimed:
"For this fight, I have worked hard on my punches. As for kicks, don't worry, you guys will definitely see it in the ring. I will try to press forward as much as possible."
It was the exact aggression that he vowed and delivered to reintroduce himself back to the mix of contenders in the loaded flyweight Muay Thai contenders.
