Rodtang made an explosive debut in September 2018 against Sergio Wielzen. The unanimous decision victory highlighted his signature aggressive style, durable chin, and devastating striking, offering fans a glimpse of the fighter who would soon be known as 'The Iron Man.'
His career-defining moment came in August 2019 when he dethroned Jonathan Haggerty to claim the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship.
Following that monumental victory, Rodtang went on a dominant run, defeating the likes of Walter Goncalves, Petchdam Petchyindee, Danial Williams, Jacob Smith, Joseph Lasiri, and Edgar Tabares.
However, his reign ended in controversy after he failed to make weight for his rematch against Smith this past November.
While he went on to defeat the Brit striker by a dominant decision, the divisional crown remained vacant.
Despite this debacle, Rodtang will be given a chance at redemption by figuring in a high-profile matchup in March of next year.
