WATCH: Thai superstars Superbon and Rodtang trade leather in sparring session

Superbon Singha Mawynn and 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon were recently filmed sparring against one another. The two ultra-talented athletes are getting prepared for their respective fights at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video on January 13.

On Instagram, ONE Championship shared:

It was a friendly sparring session between ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon and the ONE flyweight Muay Thai king. ‘The Iron Man’ marched forward aggressively while Superbon countered with kicks and punches. The two exchanged laughs to keep the mood light.

Thai-born kickboxing star Superbon has a major test ahead of him at ONE Fight Night 6 as he is booked against Chingiz Allazov. Allazov is coming off of an impressive win in which he earned the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix championship. The Azerbaijani-Belarusian athlete has held world titles in every organization he has competed in, including Kunlun and K-1.

Muay Thai superstar Rodtang, meanwhile, is taking a fight outside of his normal sport. In an effort to collect more belts, 'The Iron Man' has set his goal on earning a kickboxing world title in ONE Championship. His journey begins at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13 when he faces China's Jiduo Yibu.

Superbon and Rodtang on the road to greatness

Both Superbon and Rodtang are creating incredible legacies in combat sports. The pair are currently reigning world champions in ONE, with both having defended their respective thrones.

Additionally, each man is ranked as the top pound-for-pound fighter in their respective specialty; Superbon in kickboxing and 'The Iron Man' in Muay Thai. Both will need vital wins at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13 to continue their road to greatness.
