Reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty had one of the best performances of his career this past February in defense of his bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Felipe Lobo.
Haggerty faced an uphill battle after getting knocked down in the opening round, but he later evened it out with a knockdown of his own midway through round two in an explosive sequence.
Sensing that Lobo was fighting out of desperation after getting sent to the canvas, Haggerty swarmed 'Demolition Man' in the closing moments of the second frame.

The third-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai fighter ultimately survived Haggerty's onslaught, but the momentum was fully in favor of the British star from then on.
Haggerty finally put away the exhausted Lobo early in round three with a monstrous right hand to successfully defend his bantamweight Muay Thai throne via TKO.
Jonathan Haggerty's brother Freddie expects dominance at ONE 168
Jonathan Haggerty will have his second defense of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 against flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 at Ball Arena.
Freddie Haggerty, the two-sport king's younger brother and a ONE strawweight Muay Thai fighter, foresees 'The General' retaining his 26 pounds of ONE gold inside the Ball Arena.
Speaking to the South China Morning Post, Freddie Haggerty said:
"I think Superlek is going to make a mistake with the weight... That's going to affect his gas tank. I know how it's going to go. I think Jon's going to wear him out and finish him."
