In a video that surfaced in 2016, Mark Coleman and Joe Rogan got into a playful wrestling exchange. It saw the UFC Hall of Famer shove the commentator into a wall.

The two can be seen fighting for grip before Joe Rogan gets an arm drag to a body-lock sequence on Coleman. The former UFC heavyweight reversed the move before grabbing Rogan and shoving him against a nearby wall.

After the tussle, both men can be seen embracing each other, although it seems like Joe Rogan underestimated Mark Coleman's strength in the exchange.

In an interview with The Hannibal TV, Mark Coleman went into detail about the incident. Here is what he said:

"I met him after the comedy show. I went up and honestly - people say I was drinking, I was not drinking - just gave him a hug. A lot of times when wrestlers give each other a hug, it turns into something more than that. And old Joe Rogan hit me with a nice, slick arm drag and he took my back. I got hip issues at the time and all of a sudden, out of instincts, I had no choice but to turn around and face him. And, I would say I gave him a gentle push."

Mark Coleman then said that he likes Joe Rogan and thinks he's very funny, but he also thought that Rogan was angry after the incident. Coleman also felt like the UFC commentator was surprised by his strength.
